How does the process work?

We will schedule a phone or video call to go over the details of your ring. During this appointment, we will discuss all the required elements of the ring. If you have inspiration for your design please provide any photos or sketches.

Step 1: The first step after the initial consultation is to select the center stone. The ring is designed around the center stone so this must be secured before the design process is started.

Step 2: We work with our designers to create a 3D rendering of your ring. Detailed renderings are usually available within 2-3 days depending on the complexity of the design.

Step 3: You receive the renderings to review before the ring goes into production.

How long does it take to make a custom ring?

After the design is approved and the ring goes into production it takes approximately 3 weeks to make the ring depending on the metal type and complexity of the design.

How much does a custom ring cost?

A $299 non-refundable deposit is required before starting the design process. The deposit is applied towards the final purchase price of the ring.

*Ring designs are property of Mikado Diamonds unless expressly agreed to before production. We do not provide digital design files. Design services are only available for fully completed rings that include a center stone purchased from Mikado Diamonds.
